This is the greatest tree stand I've ever owned
I purchased the Emerald Innovations tree stand to replace the same item which broke after 15 years use. I returned the new tree stand when I learned they carry a lifetime guarantee from the manufacturer. My return was accepted by Christmas Lights and I received the replacement part from Emerald Innovations in 2 days. I give my highest recommendation to both Christmas Lights and Emerald Innovations. This is the greatest tree stand I've ever owned.

really great
i finally caved and bought one after a couple years of the kind where you have to hold the tree at the same time you twist the screws into the side. i had enough of that! the new tree stand worked perfectly and was so easy to use. i look forward to putting up my xmas tree this year.

Makes Putting Up Trees Fun
Works like a charm. Even I can mount and stand up a 7' tree on my own. Looks attractive. Just need to trim enough off the bottom of the tree to watering access easy. This is actually the 2nd one I've bought. I still have the first. Bought 2nd one as gift for son's family, who absolutely love it.

Greatest Tree Stand Ever...
Have used this particular model of tree stand for over 15 years. It is a superior product. Best stand you could possibly get. No hassle of tightening one side then the other only to still have your tree standing crooked like you do with traditional stands. Simple press of the pedal and you can straighten your tree. Worth every penny! There is a "Cup" that your tree stem goes into. That cup then goes into the stand and then you do your leveling by stepping on the the pedal. TAKE THE CUP WITH YOU WHEN PICKING OUT YOUR TREE!! This way you know how many branches you'll lose at the bottom, and if the trunk will fit. I've had to "shave" more than 1 tree until I got wise and beagan bringing the cup with me. Also, do be careful not to overtighten the 3 screws into your tree. The plastic frame of the cup could snap if you do due to too much pressure, and then you're bummed.

Emerald Innovations XTS3 Swivel Straight Tree..
After years of using various flimsy Christmas tree stands that we were unhappy with, we found the Emerald Innovations XTS3 Swivel Straight Tree stand at one of our local big box stores when they sold for $29.41. The older stands had three metal feet and tipped over easily so I use to drill holes in the feet and screw the legs into plywood boards to prevent them from tipping over. Another problem with the older stands was that they held very little water so you had to fill them at least twice a day to keep the tree moist. The Emerald Innovations XTS3 stand solved those problems. The stand is nearly twenty inches in diameter and holds about three and one-half quarts of water. If you follow the instructions in the booklet that comes with the stand you shouldn’t have any problems. The main thing is to make sure the tree sets firmly into the bottom of the trunk receptacle holder and that the holder is as straight as possible before tightening the three screws. After inserting the trunk receptacle into the base firmly, it’s easy to adjust the tree so it stands straight. Some of the listings on Amazon for the tree stand can be a bit confusing. Some call the stand Emerald Innovations XTS3 Swivel Straight Tree, some Swivel Straight Tree Stand and others call it a Dyno Swivel Straight 1-Minute Christmas Tree Stand. Checking the patent number on the original stand I purchased years ago and the one recently purchased for a gift the patent numbers are the same. The booklet that came with the recently purchased stand has St. Nick’s Choice and made by Dyno Seasonal Solutions in it. The MSR is 54.99, the XTS1 stand 119.99.

"stand strait" tree stands are garbage--this is the tree stand you need
found this ages ago at target. best stand ever. had to buy a replacement after about 10 solid years of use. easy to use, and because of the wide base, you don't have to worry about it tipping over, unlike a certain brand that requires the tree to be drilled (yeah, been there, done that).

Great Christmas tree stand
Love this stand. We have one at our vacation home where we usually spend Christmas. This year we needed to be home for the holiday, and could not face putting up a tree without this stand. Found it on Amazon and ordered right away. My sister lives in NC and had one like this too, but lost a few years back when she took it with her to buy her tree and the place she purchased her tree kept it and pretended they had never seen it. She was thrilled when I told her about this one. Made our holiday!

good instructions. Can re-align the tree in 3-5 degree ...
Works well; good instructions. Can re-align the tree in 3-5 degree increments once it is standing. We are very happy with the stand and will use it for many years to come. We took the central piece with us to be sure that the tree would fit. About 10-15% of the 8 foot firs we saw had wide bases that would not fit easily. It's a good idea to read the instructions BEFORE getting a tree home. The base of the tree must be cut off so it can take up water (like with most stands). With this stand, the edges of the base must be also trimmed, like starting to sharpen a pencil, because the plastic sleeve that fits over the base of the tree is rounded at the bottom, and it is important to get a snug fit and to have the middle of the tree base hit the bottom of the sleeve. The tree people can do it if you don't have tools at home, so bring that piece along when you are shopping for a tree. I used a bow saw to take pieces off the edges of the tree bottom. Took about 5 minutes. It is easy to tell when the sleeve fits snugly onto the base of the tree. It'll be even easier next year, when I actually know what I'm doing. The base down't hold a lot of water; maybe three or four quarts. I add 2-3 pints in the morning and evening. Thirsty tree.

It saved my marriage
If you are holding off because this seems like a frivolous, will only use it once a year holiday purchase-don't. Every year it was the same thing. We used to spend at least 45 minutes trying to get the damn tree straight and it always escalated to the antithesis of holiday cheer. Not this time. This stand got the most crooked, messed up tree straight in 5 minutes with just me while my spouse made cocoa. It was a Christmas Miracle.

Once again, Amazon is there for us with WHAT we need, WHEN we need it, and at the RIGHT PRICE!
We have ALWAYS used (and LOVED!) this tree stand (as in 20+ years!). THIS year, when we brought it out for our tree trimming, we found the part that adjusts & holds the tree trunk perpendicular was broken. We IMMEDIATELY placed an order with Amazon, and 3 days later we had a BRAND NEW one (AND for LESS $$ than the price points we found offered in our local stores!). BEST tree stand, EVER!! BEST internet shopping experience available!!
