Works for More than just Boat repairs.
I have a Husqvarna Rider 155 Riding Lawn mower. My drive cable broke. After researching all the Riding mower stores for a replacement, I found this Boat Repair store/brand SeaStar. It was a perfect match and nearly $25 less expensive than the Mower stores. 10/32 threads were a perfect match to my mower. So don't be afraid to get this product.

Solid cable for shifting
The Teleflex extreme cables cost a bit over morse 33 series.. nothing against morse - they make some great products!, but after installing these i was impressed by how stout everything feels... worth the few extra bucks to buy the extreme series - happy shifting! I will also say it took me a couple of attempts to get the right length, so the first two had to go back and get a little shorter - the process was a breeze returning and refund was perfect !... saved me a bunch of time running back and forth to the local marine shop. thanks guys !

Put on my sailboat
One of my cables broke so I replaced both. The shift and speed controls were easy to install in my Edson pedestal and the smaller radius the cables translated to easier to shift and better control over engine RPM. Great product, good price, fast delivery, and exactly as ordered.

so its all good.
I needed a cable 2' longer and this one fit my Yamaha F90 outboard and 703 control box perfectly. Only needed to re-use the old plastic end connectors (#10-32) from my old cables. Plus fast delivery, so its all good.

Prime Product, well packed and delivered on time as always.
These cables are not the least expensive but they made in the US and are worth the extra cost. Easy installation and the outer plastic cover appears to be a bit thicker that the one I am replacing. That plus the 4" bend radius makes installation a breeze. Just be sure to work one cable end at a time and use the old cable adjustments as a guide to install the attachment ends. Do this and there will be little to no readjustment needed and get you back on the water quicker.

Big improvement over OEM cables

Install Flash Player I replaced the shift cable only on my Volvo Penta SX-M outdrive and it made a noticeable difference, in my opinion well worth the money. I bent the end of my OEM shift cable and wanted to try the TF Xtreme as a replacement. I have twin drives and I left the port side stock, with the original Volvo shift and throttle cables, and the starboard drive has the new teleflex shift cable with the original throttle cable. This video shows the difference over OEM. Super easy install, however the cable comes with no instructions.

Superior product!
Replaced an older Seastar cable that broke while we were docking - boat is a 1999 so can't complain and the other three cables are still working. But this new cable is smoother. Definitely recommend - worth the extra.

Definitely better built than original Yamaha cable
I haven't even had it on the water yet but this is quite an upgrade from the original Yamaha cable. The thickness of the cable slave appears more sturdy and is thicker. The cable fits fine. I measured my cable length as prescribed by the manufacturer: length from remote control unit to engine plus 4 feet. The length is probably fine with plus 3 feet.

Fantastic quality and simply to route with its tight 4" turn radius. I used this to replace a transmission shift line on a boat and it's fantastic. Was nearly twice as thick as the original suggesting there is much more going on inside to hopefully maintain lubrication etc. The cable was thicker than the original but the connectors/fittings on either end were identical so the replacement was a simple drop in job.

Smooth as silk, no backlash!
Go with the CCX633xx XTREME! Don't waste your time and money with anything less. I had the economy CC230 cables and they had lots of friction and slop. They lasted only 6 months before it bound up. This was mainly due to the factory's confusing codes. All cables that have 10-32 ends are 3300 group......BUT! it dose not mean the performance level! The other number CC230xx (fair) CC332xx (good) CCX633xx (great) does. You would not know this unless you went to the factory web site. They should drop lesser qualities and focus volume to reduce price then everyone wins. The "xx" position in the number is the length in feet. So CCX63312 is 12 feet long.
