Fantastic!
I love everything about this book! The layout is awesome! They even have a small upside down section! There are parts about each of the actors, designs, random facts! I love the old school look of the book, complete with a used store sticker on the front! There the cook drawing on part of the inside cover as well. Just so many things!!! Great book for Stranger Things
It was exactly what I was expecting - and even more. It's perfect for anyone who can't wait for season 3. The pictures inside are stunning.
Spend some time with the Duffer Brothers!
This book is for nerds. No seriously that's what the duffer brothers said in the foreword and boy are they right! You will get an overload of all geek artifacts such as Dungeons and Dragons, video games, Stephen King novels, horror movies, the works. What I liked about this book is that the brothers are unabashedly nerds and are sharing their love of geekdom with their audience. It’s almost as if you are hanging out with them and you are talking about various subjects with such passion that has influenced their creativity. One of my favorite authors as of late is Larry Flores (Creepy Vibes, The Fire Diaries) who has a lot in common with the Duffer brothers as far as their love of geek culture. You can tell that they were influenced by the same things growing up in the 80s. However, Larry’s wheelhouse is dark humor. Getting back to the book, its designed with YOU in mind. The main characters all have Dungeons and Dragons type player cards that decorate their bio complete with strengths and weaknesses which is a nice touch. Also I loved how the book addressed all of the Easter eggs in the show. For example, The Duffers favorite movie is Jaws so that heavily influenced the reason why you didn't see the demagorgon until the last episode of season 1. The book gives you the most in-depth details you could ever want if you are a fan of this show. No stone is left unturned. So if you love Stranger Things than this is a no-brainer but the best part is that it really does feel like the Duffer brothers are right there with you and well...that just pays for itself

If you call yourself a true fan of ST, get this book. Top quality paper and printing with a overwhelmingly amount of strange content. The book is fantastic from top to bottom and you will enjoy discovering all the little details hidden throughout. I love it!

WOW. Got this as a Christmas gift and I am SO pleased. As others have said, this is truly a must-read for any big Stranger Things fans! I raced through it yet still enjoyed very snippet and detail. It's just so cool to see and hear all these insights from the directors, producers, etc. about what it really takes to make such a fantastic show and how much thought is put into every little detail. It makes you appreciate the show so much more and the dedication of those creating this series - that includes actors and everyone else - is evident on each page. So so cool and fun to read.
Something is coming...
Something freaking amazing! This book is an awesome companion to anyone who is a huge Stranger Things fan! The retro look that this book has is totally tubular and I love that they even put a Melvald’s price tag on it! This is honestly the best companion to a movie/tv show I’ve ever owned. The only thing I wish is that they waited to release this until they were done with the series, because now I’ll have to buy another companion for the rest of the show!
Perfection on Paper
Absolute Must Have for any ST Fan. No Assembly Required - Batteries Not Included. NOTE: The Drug Enforcement Agency has typed Stranger Things as a Schedule One Narcotic. ST is a drug and we are all addicted. Give us season three or we're going to have twelve-year-olds in back alleys trying to score vacuum tubes and 8 track tapes.
First Impression of this book freaked me out
When I first opened the package I was really upset at the torn cover and obviously "used" condition of this book. But after looking closer there is a little sticker that lets you know this is how it's supposed to look. It's actually pretty cool. The contents of the book are really good too, appearing to be written in by someone who "owned" the book previously. I actually live the next street over from the scene of the flipping van, so that's pretty cool to see pictures of my neighborhood in the book. My grandson is going to really love this book.
Beautiful presentation, but craved more depth
The presentation of this book is fantastic. It was a pleasure to peruse, exploring the many glossy photos and inserts (not to mention surprises). While this book acts as a companion to the show, I did find much of the information within its pages a bit basic. A significant number of passages (scattered throughout the text) are dedicated to summarizing episodes or scenes, which anyone reading this book would have no doubt viewed at least once. Similarly, many of the footnotes are simplistic or point out connections that are fairly obvious (Did we need a footnote to explain what a perm is?). Still, there are enough revelations here to make for an interesting read, and the presentation of the book really lifts it to new heights of enjoyment. I'd highly recommend this to any fan, as long as they note the text doesn't bother to dig very deep, but provides an entertaining presentation nonetheless.
